I am very pleased to welcome you all to General Science & Humanities Department at departmental website of A.I.S.S.M.S’S Polytechnic.

We enjoy  the special  responsibility to offer innovative  teaching–learning  process  in in different  subjects like Basic Physics, Basic Chemistry, Basic Mathematics, English, Applied physics, Applied Chemistry,  Engineering Mathematics , Communication Skills, Development of Life Skills-I, Applied Mathematics  as a part of curriculum  of MSBTE, Mumbai to first year students of diploma engineering .

The department has highly qualified, experienced and dedicated faculty members with strong   commitment to engineering education and professional ethics.  The   goal of departmental staff is to prepare strong, concrete and sound foundation of first year students which is necessary to formulate, solve, analyze engineering problem and to prepare them for higher studies.  For overall development of the students, competitions like essay, elocution, debate project, poster, quiz etc. guest lectures, and Soft Skill training are arranged. Special counseling sessions are also arranged for the students of first year diploma.

I welcome you all to the Department of Science & Humanities Second shift olytechnic. Second Shift Polytechnic was stated in the year 2008. Technicians produced ontributed to industrial development over the years at nation.

Department has well equipped laboratories like Physics, Chemistry & Language laboratory. For overall development of the students, Guest Lectures, Technical workshops, Soft Skill training and industrial visits are arranged.

Department Student’s Association helps the student to arrange various programs in the Department. It leads to develop the leadership in the student.

Industrial Visits are arranged in every semester to expose the students to real world applications.

The department has experienced and dedicated faculty members with strong commitment to the engineering education and professional ethics.
