On 1st August 2024, the Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering of AISSMS Polytechnic under IEI Student Chapter conducted a Guest Lecture on “Innovative Engineering” for TYEJ students.
Alumni Ahmed Shaikh and Adit Kumbhar from Technikien Technologies shared insights on using Arduino for Capstone Projects. They covered real-world projects and explained the cost-efficient ways to use electronic components.

On August 2, 2024, the Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering at AISSMS Polytechnic, in collaboration with the ISTE and IEI Student chapter, hosted an expert talk for SYEJ students. Renowned speaker Sumedh Thorat, Constitutional Law Expert covered the valuable insights into the Indian Constitution’s evolution, challenges, and future directions. He emphasized the need for ongoing dialogue, critical reflection and collective engagement to strengthen India’s constitutional framework and ensure its continued relevance in a rapidly changing world.

We were honored to have Subhash Pol, a graduate in Event and Management from Leeds Beckett University, UK, share his journey with us. Currently working as a Business Development Manager at Edwise International, he enlightened us on the importance of scholarships and how they can be life-changing. His insights were invaluable, helping us understand the next big steps in our careers. This session will surely guide us in the future.

On September 19, 2024, the E&TC department organized an insightful guest lecture for TYEJ students on “Technology and Career in Industrial Automation and Embedded Systems” to celebrate Engineer’s Day. The Man of the Hour, Mr. Vivek Sardal, shared his expertise in the field. With a B.E. in Instrumentation and an MBA in Marketing, he’s currently the Regional Manager at Just Engineering Pvt. Ltd. His guidance on career selection, especially the vast opportunities in embedded systems, was invaluable. The session shed light on the pros and cons of various tech career paths, helping us all make informed decisions.

The session was highly informative, providing a deep understanding of the current scenario in industrial automation.

01. Advancement in Industrial Automation
On 11th September 2023, the Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering of AISSMS Polytechnic under IEI Student Chapter, conducted a Guest Lecture on “Advancement in Industrial Automation” for SYEJ and TYEJ students.
Nital Sarap madam has covered PLC, SCADA system, DCS system and their applications, requirements etc. PLC’s handle localized control, SCADA overseas supervisory control and data acquisition and DCS manages distributed control in large scale industrial processes.
02. Guest Lecture on “Wireless Sensor Network”
On 8thJanuary 2024, the Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering of AISSMS Polytechnic, in collaboration with Institute of Industrial Design- Pune, under IEI Student Chapter, conducted a seminar on “Wireless Sensor Network” for SYEJ and TYEJ students.
Mr. Sushil Soni sir has covered introduction of WSN, interdisciplinary learning model for wireless communication, various aspects of wireless sensor network, case study, best practices, importance of Wireless Sensor Network and design challenges like heterogeneity, distributed processing, low bandwidth communication etc.
Prof. Sushil Soni sir delivered an enlightening talk making it a truly enriching experience for our students.
03. Guest Lecture on “Battery Design Trends”
On 19th January 2024, the Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering of AISSMS Polytechnic, in collaboration with Institute of Industrial Design- Pune, under IEI Student Chapter, conducted a seminar on “Battery Design Trends” for SYEJ and TYEJ students.
Mr. David Christian sir has covered what do you mean by a battery? How do the batteries work? What are the major research areas? What are current challenges? How can you contribute?
Mr. David Christian sir delivered an enlightening talk making it a truly enriching experience for our students.
