Organized from 29th January to 2nd February 2024

The Faculty Development Training Program (FDTP) on “Artificial Intelligence: An Engineering Milestone”, sponsored by the Maharashtra

State Board of Technical Education (MSBTE), Mumbai, was conducted from 29th January to 2nd February 2024.

This training program was designed to enhance the knowledge and teaching skills of faculty members in the rapidly evolving field of Artificial
Intelligence (AI), with a focus on its significance in modern engineering applications. The event brought together faculty from various technical

institutions across Maharashtra and provided a platform to explore:

  • Fundamental and advanced concepts in AI
  •  Machine Learning and Deep Learning techniques
  •  Applications of AI in different branches of engineering
  • Tools and technologies such as Python, TensorFlow, and AI-based frameworks
  • Ethical considerations and future trends in AI

Renowned experts from industry and academia conducted engaging sessions, hands-on workshops, and case study discussions to ensure a practical and impactful learning experience.

The program fostered a collaborative learning environment, encouraged innovative thinking, and empowered faculty members to incorporate AI concepts into their teaching and research practices.

This initiative aligns with MSBTE’s objective to continually upgrade the competencies of technical educators and promote excellence in technical education.
