The students, who score 35 percentage, are eligible for diploma engineering admissions. However admission depends on the cut-off percentage of the respective course/ branch/program.

A)If you want to take admission in general category, you need following documents for admission process:

  1. 8 and 9’markheet / Proforma z
  2. SSC/ 10th marksheet
  3. Leaving certificate
  4. Nationality certificate (If you don’t have nationality certificate, you may submit Birth certificate or Leaving certificate mentioning nationality of the candidate as Indian)
  5. Aadhar card
  6. Three passport size photos

B) If you want to take admission in Reserved category, you need following additional documents with above mentioned documents for admission process:

  1. Caste Certificate
  2. Non-creamy layer certificate valid till 31st March, 2021 (Not applicable for SC and ST category students)
  3. Domicile certificate of Maharashtra

Yes, you will get fee concession/scholarship as per the government norms as per your category. However, you need to submit all the required documents for the fee concession/scholarship.

If you want to avail the fee concession /scholarship, you need to submit the following documents in addition to the documents which are mentioned in question number 3:

  1. Caste validity certificate
  2. Original valid income certificate of parent (Father)
  3. Domicile certificate

TFWS means Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme.  Under TFWS, 100% tuition fee is waived. For TFWS, 5% seats are available above Sanctioned Intake. These seats are allocated as per merit.

In addition to the documents that are mentioned in question no.3, you need to submit the following documents for TFWS:

  1. Valid Income certificate of parent (Income below 8 Lakhs)
  2. Domicile certificate of Maharashtra

Diploma engineering is of 3 years (6 semesters) at AISSMS Polytechnic

Yes. In both cases, the time duration is six years. Because diploma engineering passed candidates get admission to the second year of engineering.

The knowledge that diploma students possess is unmatchable. After successful completion of Diploma Engineering course, students gain good theoretical and practical knowledge which helps the students to study engineering (B.E./B.Tech.) easily. Besides, the candidate need not give any entrance examination after diploma while joining to the Direct second year of engineering. The candidates get admission to the second year of Engineering on the basis of their percentage of final year diploma engineering.

Yes, you can change the branch/course. But please note that the admissions in the second year while changing the branch/course/ program depend on the availability of seats and the students’ demand of the branch. So the seats will be allocated as per the merit.

No. There is a centralised admission process and is valid for all polytechnics in Maharashtra state. So you need to fill only one form and need not to go to other colleges for filling a separate form.

If you have completed HSC Science or Vocational, you can take admission to the direct second-year diploma engineering. But if you completed HSC with Arts or Commerce, you cannot take to admission to the direct second year but you can take admission to the first year.  

You need not submit the caste validity certificate at the time of admission. However, you need to submit the Caste Validity certificate at the time of filling the scholarship form. The scholarship will not be granted if you fail to submit Caste Validity Certificates and to fill online scholarship application form. (Please be updated with the due dates.)

In addition to the documents that are mentioned in question no.3, you need to submit the following documents:

No. Admissions to the first year diploma engineering are given on the basis of SSC/10th marks and to the Direct Second Year on the basis of HSC/ITI marks/percentages.

If you get admission in Reserved category and if you submit all the required documents, you need not to pay full fees. You have to pay the fees as per your Reserved category.

Yes, AISSMS Polytechnic is affiliated to MSBTE and approved by AICTE.

Yes. You can take admission under Institute Quota. For this, you need to apply to the Polytechnic in the prescribed application form.
