Designation: Head, Department of Mechanical Engineering AISSMS Polytechnic, Pune.

The Students’ Chapter of Department of Mechanical Engineering A.I.S.S.M.S.’s Polytechnic Pune celebrated the Teachers Day i.e. Birth Anniversary of Former President of India Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan in a very different way. Students played role of teachers. They run college for 3 Hours by conducting 6 lectures of 30 minutes each. They taught 6 different subjects of their current semester. Respective subject teachers guided them for their preparation. They used various teaching aids like conventional chalk board, PPTs, videos, drawing instruments, lab equipment, etc. Mr. A. B. Sutar, Mr. R. D. Bhosale, Mr. D.V. Thakur & Mr. S.D. Ambatkar observed these lectures.

In the formal function, participants shared their views about teaching experience. Mr. S. C. Chikurde, Head of Department guided students about Student-Teacher relationship. Prizes were distributed to the best Student-Teacher from Second and Third Year classes. Students felicited their teachers. Atharva Babar, Pratham Salunkhe, Atharva Konde, Chaitanya Phadtare and Swamiraj Dhole from IEI Students’ Chapter participated in the success of this function.

Best out of waste Competition was conducted on 01/10/2019

Students created some useful projects out of waste material that was easily available for them. Prof. Mane introduced the Chief Guest Prof. V. N.  Kukre ,H.O.D. Computer Engg. Dept, AISSMS’s Polytechnic, Pune.

Prof. Chitalange who was on official visit to Polytechnic on the same day , also visited  the exhibition of Competition.

Art Gallery Exhibition

Art Gallery exhibition was arranged to give opportunity for students to display their hidden talents like painting and hobbies like collection of stamps, old currency notes, etc.
